The FreeBSD Daemon

Since the start of the project, FreeBSD has been the operating system of choice for the upper-level computer ("Mother"). This OS runs quite happily on large multi-core machines and also small, embedded machines such as the WRAP and ALIX boards. Incidentally, the BSD Daemon was drawn by John Lasseter of Pixar fame.
